ACAHP and DSWD–EPAHP Region 12 Sign MOU
ACAHP recently marked a significant milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DSWD–EPAHP Region 12, formalizing a shared commitment to strengthening community-based food systems in the region.
The signing ceremony was held alongside a workshop on co-developing the Philippine Roadmap for Sustainable Public Food Procurement, as well as an orientation on the newly launched Digital Mapping System — a key tool for tracking and coordinating program implementation on the ground.
This partnership advances two major goals under the ACAHP–EPAHP collaboration: allocating 30% of the feeding program budget to the National Convergence Program on Community (NPCP) modality, and engaging 40 community-based organizations (CBOs) across Region 12 to ensure locally-driven, sustainable food procurement.
Together, these efforts represent a concrete step toward a more inclusive and community-centered approach to public feeding programs in the Philippines.
